“Dear Natural Urn Manufactory customers, I am an architect from Nicaragua and a member of a family business that has been dedicated to the design and development of solid wood products and furniture for over 25 years.
In 2016, I found myself in the position of having to choose an urn for a close family member. I decided to design one. The most difficult part was finding a form that would allow me to create a connection between physical and emotional memory. When I finished my first urn and held it in my hands, I knew I wanted to help create new ways to remember and mourn our loved ones.
Leveraging my family's technical expertise and the platform of our furniture company, I launched my company under the name Crafted Urns. In 2025, after a long and trusting process, we were able to offer my first urns to you through the Natururnen Manufaktur in Germany.
Our urns are handcrafted in small batches to guarantee quality and durability, and we use only natural raw materials."

Farvel is a young, friendly Swiss company from Zurich with whom we have enjoyed working since 2025.
During a conversation on Lake Geneva, the two founders, Katharina and Sebastian, decided to make a contribution to the modern and diverse culture of mourning.
You can see the results in our shop and on their website. These are not only unique products, but also demonstrate social commitment and a respectful approach to nature.

"Dear customers of the Natural Urn Manufactory,
We are Katharina and Sebastian, and together we founded Farvel in 2024. Our paths crossed in 2008 while studying in Zurich. The idea for Farvel was born many years later, high above Lake Geneva, in a conversation about the loss of a loved one and the difficulty of finding an urn that met our standards of aesthetics, sustainability, and meaning.
This gave rise to the desire to create something new. An urn that is more than a container. A keepsake. Personal, stylish, and responsibly produced. Together with designer René Odermatt (Studio Porto) and partners from social workshops, we have begun to make this vision a reality.
Our urns are 3D-printed from biodegradable wood fibers and carefully hand-finished. Each urn is unique—be it in its shape, its lid made of fine wood or marble, or in the stories associated with it.
We are very pleased to now make our collection directly available in Germany through the Natururnen Manufaktur.
With Farvel, we want to help shape a contemporary culture of remembrance and enable individual ways of saying goodbye."
